About Me
Hello there,
From the quaint streets of Solon, OH, to the serene landscapes of Buffalo, MO, my life's journey has unfolded like chapters in a captivating book. A story that began as a full-time Realtor took an unforeseen turn, leading me down a path of self-discovery, resilience, and a profound sense of purpose.
In 2018, a diagnosis of Stage 3 breast cancer became a defining moment that illuminated the depths of my strength and ignited an unquenchable fire within me. My children, aged just 1 and 5, were the pillars of my determination as I grappled with explaining to them the intricacies of my battle – a battle that included the impending loss of my breasts. Those conversations were marked by a mix of vulnerability and courage, as I navigated the delicate terrain of their young hearts.
Amidst the challenges, a newfound calling emerged. Through the birth of Flor Publishing LLC, I found a channel to share my journey, offer solace, and extend a hand to others traversing similar paths. With the power of words, I penned a children's book resonating with themes of bravery and hope, serving as a guiding light for families in times of uncertainty. Journals, too, became instruments of reflection and empowerment.
My purpose now stands clear – to stand alongside families grappling with the weight of illness, to remind them that they are not alone, and to create a tapestry of understanding and healing through my storytelling. From the depths of adversity to the heights of advocacy, my journey has evolved, painting a portrait of resilience, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to being a beacon of support for all who seek it.
